Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 26, 2025

Part Of The Solution Nonprofit Inc. (POTS) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We strive to meet or exceed recognized accessibility standards and to improve usability for everyone.
Our Standard
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance—the widely accepted benchmark referenced by Georgia’s digital accessibility guidance for public-sector sites. While POTS is a nonprofit (not a state agency), we adopt WCAG 2.1 AA as our target because it provides clear, testable criteria for accessible experiences.
Note: Section 508 (a federal rule) applies to U.S. federal agencies; it does not directly bind most nonprofits. We still align with its spirit via WCAG conformance.
Measures We Take
-
Accessible design & code: semantic HTML, proper headings, labels, alt text, captions/transcripts where applicable, and keyboard operability.
-
Color & typography: sufficient contrast and legible font sizing.
-
Continuous monitoring: periodic automated scans and manual reviews against WCAG success criteria.
-
Staff training & governance: team education informed by Georgia’s digital accessibility resources.
Compatibility
Our website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, magnifiers, voice input) on desktop and mobile. Older browsers or vendor-modified devices may not fully support all features.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some third-party components, legacy PDFs, or user-generated content may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. When issues are identified, we will provide accessible alternatives on request (for example, an HTML or large-print version) and prioritize fixes.

Declaration of Partial Compliance Due to Third-Party Content
Last updated: September 26, 2025
Organization: Part Of The Solution Nonprofit Inc. (“POTS”)
Standard targeted: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
Conformance status
POTS is committed to providing an accessible website and aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Based on our most recent review, the site is partially conformant. This means some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Scope of this declaration
This declaration applies to webpages, documents, and features developed and controlled by POTS at:
Website: partofthesolutionnonprofitinc.org
It does not cover content and functionality provided by third parties that POTS does not fully control or cannot modify.
Third-party content affecting compliance
The following third-party or embedded items may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA at all times:
-
Embedded maps, calendars, or form widgets (e.g., scheduling, donation, or ticketing tools)
-
Payment processors and checkout flows
-
Video players and closed-caption controls hosted off-site
-
Social media embeds/feeds
-
External event listings and meeting directories
-
User-generated content (e.g., comments, uploaded files)
-
Legacy documents/PDFs provided by partners or public sources
Where feasible, we select vendors that publish accessibility statements and demonstrate progress toward WCAG 2.1 AA, but conformance can vary and may change without notice.
Rationale for partial compliance
-
Certain third-party platforms do not allow code-level remediation by POTS.
-
Some accessible alternatives (captions, transcripts, ARIA labeling) depend on vendor features or partner-supplied files.
-
Occasionally, time-sensitive community resources are only available in formats we cannot immediately convert.
Measures we take
-
Vendor due diligence: prefer tools with documented WCAG 2.1 AA support.
-
Contracts & requests: ask vendors for accessibility roadmaps and fixes.
-
Authoring practices: semantic HTML, labeled controls, alt text, captions/transcripts for our own content where applicable.
-
Ongoing testing: periodic automated scans and manual checks with assistive technologies.
-
Remediation queue: track and prioritize fixes for non-compliant items within our control.
Accessible alternatives
If you encounter a barrier caused by third-party content, we will provide an accessible alternative on request, such as:
-
Direct email/phone assistance,
-
An accessible HTML or large-print version,
-
A transcript or caption file,
-
A staff-assisted registration or donation by phone.
